with a dream.

Karlex began during a time when the world slowed down and people became more mindful of their health and the things they consumed.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, what started as a simple homemade drink quickly became something special. In our kitchen, we began preparing a traditional hibiscus drink as a natural way to support our family’s wellness. Using dried hibiscus petals infused with fresh ginger, pineapple, and warm spices, we created a flavorful drink that was both refreshing and rich in natural antioxidants.

At first, it was simply an immune-boosting beverage we enjoyed at home. But as friends and family began to taste it, the response was immediate. They loved the bold flavor, the vibrant color, and the refreshing taste. Before long, they were asking for more.

What started as a small homemade batch soon turned into a growing demand.

Inspired by the overwhelming support and excitement from those around us, we decided to share this special drink with a wider community. That moment marked the beginning of Karlex.

To make the experience even more refreshing, we reimagined the traditional drink by introducing a lightly carbonated version—bringing a modern twist to a beloved cultural beverage enjoyed around the world as Sobolo, Zobo, Bissap, and Sorrel.

Today, Karlex continues to honor those roots while delivering a bold, vibrant, and naturally refreshing drink crafted with real ingredients and no additives.

What began in our kitchen as a drink made with care for our family has grown into something we’re proud to share with everyone.
